We got them unloaded and in the dry safety of the shelter just in time for the three hours of rain we had. At Equine WellBeing Rescue, we often say that adoption is not the end of our relationship—it is the beginning of a lifelong commitment. When someone adopts one of our equines, they become part of our rescue family. We celebrate the happy times together, and when life takes an unexpected turn, we are here to help. Life has a way of changing our plans. Illness, family challenges, financial hardship, relocation, divorce, or other unexpected circumstances can make caring for beloved equines difficult and uncertain. We never want an adopter to feel alone if they need help. Life can change for any of us, and asking for help is sometimes the most loving decision a person can make for the animals they cherish.
One of the promises we make with every adoption is that our doors remain open. If an adopter's circumstances change and they need our help, we would much rather welcome our equines home than see them face an uncertain future. That commitment is one of the cornerstones of our mission.

Meet Jack, Gracie and Hailey. |
Recently, Gracie and Jake returned to Equine WellBeing Rescue when life circumstances changed for their adopter. Because Hailey is closely bonded with them, she came to the rescue as well so the three could remain together. They are settling in beautifully, enjoying familiar surroundings, and reminding us why keeping bonded companions together whenever possible is so important. Welcoming equines back into our care also means welcoming back the responsibility of providing hay, feed, hoof care, veterinary care, vaccinations, deworming, and all of the daily needs that allow them to thrive. If you would like to help support Gracie, Jake, and Hailey during this next chapter of their journey, we would be deeply grateful for your partnership.
